Application：
The main mechanism of D-phenylalanine is to block the opening of ATP sensitive potassium channel in islet cells by combining with sulfonylurea receptor on islet B cells, resulting in depolarization of cell membrane, opening of calcium channel and promoting insulin secretion. It is widely used in drug synthesis (medicine and pesticide), food, feed and so on.
